This is a Contract position in North Bend, WA posted June 9, 2021.

Our Garden Segment is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Central Garden and Pet organization at our North Bend, WA facility. This position reports to the Plant Manager and will provide administrative and office support on the warehouse and manufacturing functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically saavy person with SAP experience.  MEASURES OF SUCCESS  Book and schedule inbound and outbound shipments Approve and code Accounts Payable invoices for the North Bend, WA and Chico, CA facilities Support the warehouse team by providing pick tickets, packing slips, and bills of lading Research product issues, invoice customers, organize, and file shipment documents Support the Logistics Team in day-to-day office clerical activities, including SAP data entry and other office management tasks Complete and forward the temp employees payroll data to the temp agencies for payment Complete monthly OSHA hours logs to provide to the Safety Team   IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES  Previous successful experience in office administrative functions Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with SAP required Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members High level of energy and sense of urgency; self-starter; effective multi-tasker; strong attention to detail Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner  At Central Garden & Pet (NASDAQ: CENT and CENTA), we believe home is at the center of our lives, and our employees are driven by our purpose to nurture happy and healthy homes.
