Overview: We are seeking an onsite Level II PC Support Technician for a new opportunity in Scotia, NY.Assist with Hardware Deployment and Break / FixPC lifecycle activities focused in all areas of our business units.Installation, Move, Add, Change (IMAC)Installation of local site applications and configuration of the PC for user deploymentsAssist end-users with data transfer activities during PC change activitiesClient connectivity and configuration supportNetwork Print / Scan / Fax implementationsSoftware SupportTasks can include OS troubleshooting and reloading of core load images (include data transfer)Software support for core image and additional approved softwareSupport desktop configuration, software installs and removals, de-installs, driver updates, and virus / malware remediationNetwork Physical Support and Assistance as needed” Hands and eyes” network assistance during Standard Business hoursAudio-VisualAssist with the resolution of connectivity problems for end-usersProvide ” Hands and eyes” assistance with audio-visual equipment located in the offices, meeting rooms, and training facilitiesAssist with PC connectivity and configuration of audio-visual equipment, troubleshooting, and testing the equipment and configuration settings as directedPrintersAssist with printer troubleshooting and resolution of issues such as configuration issues and replacement of network attached devicesOperational Technology Support / MFGProvide assistance with technology equipment used in manufacturing environments including, but not limited to: Non-standard PCs, PCs connected to manufacturing equipment, legacy operating systems, barcode readers,, label barcode printersFork-truck mounted equipment and Handheld for Barcode scanning – testing, troubleshootingTelephonyIdentify and rectify connectivity problems for existing users, including issues that arise during scheduled or impromtu IMAC activitiesIdentify and rectify telephony service delivery issues, both configuration, and hardware related, engaging third-party maintenance providers and internal staff as requiredApplications and Server SupportAssist with server and application upgrade testingPerform approved maintenance on user accountsAssist with the resolution of problems associated with application software and server updatesFollow established procedures to detect, diagnose, and report application related problemsTest and Install new software releases, system updates, and patches Qualifications2-3 years of Desktop / Laptop systems deployment and Support activitiesImaging of PC devices, Symantec Ghost preferredWorking knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and troubeshootingKnowledge of data cabling basicsSupport of Microsoft Office product suite and Office 365Knowledge of HCL Notes email client a plusBasic network troubleshooting backgroundAbility to lift 60 poundsKnowledge of Zoom App / ZOOM Rooms administrationIBM ‘i’ system basics a plus.
