SUMMARY: Government Contracts / Program Manager will have prime responsibility and final authority for the services provided under the WA, OR & ID States Government Contracts and be the principal point of contact for the WA, OR & ID States Government Contracts Managers for all business matters, performance matters, and administrative activities.Guides contract development by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines.Monitors contract fulfillment by reviewing service reports; auditing service and correspondence.Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing procedures, implementing changes.Provides sales management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing contract data and trends.Drives implementation of strategic contract opportunities with the most significant impact on the corporation.Performs in a cross-functional role for other business areas, e.G., finance, law, operations.Trains and develops subordinate contract professionals to assume more complex contract activity.Provides authoritative guidance to internal business teams and contract subordinates on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.Have mentoring and training responsibilities.Ensures appropriate contract staffing and budget levels.Lead complex negotiations; develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.Understands the business case and has an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.Ability to establish and implement contract goals and objectives.Excellent presentation, team building, and leadership skillsSupports customers by answering inquiries regarding contract provisions, interpretation, and modifications.Ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment.Proven management and delegation ability.Motivational and visionary leadership skills, including the ability to recognize and develop emerging leadership talent.InterfaceCross-functional departmental management.Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Reviews complex solicitations and prepares a specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.Analyzes new law, regulation, and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.The focal point for all communications with law, finance, and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputesUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading legal publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations (e.G., National Contract Management Association) REASONS YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE:Work is more fun when you are part of a great team!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:An advanced degree in business and 8+ years of business experience is typical, generally including supervisory/mentoring responsibility.Advanced contract and technical knowledge, joint venture formation, strategic partnering, or other highly complex contractual arrangements.Experience with HIPAA/Healthcare industry highly desirableOffice 365 Experience requiredSalesforce Experience preferredProject Management Experience preferred or demonstrated organization skills and deadline management.

CERTIFICATIONMust achieve Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) within 1 year.
