Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com.Primary Responsibilities:The Work Place Services and EHS Operations Lead/Facilities Manager supports with the business leaders to keep the site fully operational at all times.

This position is responsible for all site activities associated with utilities, equipment qualification, preventative maintenance, change control, shut-down activities, and risk assessments.

Liaison to landlord in leading repair and maintenance, investigations, trouble shooting, root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions and processes for the site infrastructure.

Manage planned and unplanned events at the site.

Inspect and review infrastructure projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and site regulations.Provides comprehensive risk assessments, exposure assessment, process hazard assessments, and EHS management program understanding and implementation.

Ensure compliance with Agilent Environmental, Health Safety Regulations and Procedures for the site and recommend to the company the training required for compliance.

Required to conduct safety training for employees.Implement and maintain Biosafety guidelines so that biohazardous materials are used safely and in compliance with government regulations.

Conduct periodic EHS Biosafety inspections.

Support lab personnel with scheduling their vaccinations.

Advise the departments on Biosafety matters.

Assist in arrangement for the proper shipping and transportation of biohazardous materials.

Serve as the liaison with regulatory agencies.Support incident investigation efforts for assigned divisions and EHS specific elements; Participate on EHS audits and / or self
– assessments; maintain an EHS Management system that conforms to ISO 14001 and Agilent’s Corporate EHSMS, FDA and ISO 13485.

Influence Agilent and facility processes to address EHS understanding and lead projects to reduce EHS risk and hazard business impact.Communicate effectively in written and oral formats with peers and others at varying levels within the organization.

Present ideas well one-on-one, in small groups, and to larger audiences.

Have the ability to convey meaning and importance of EHS topics to non-EHS personnel, and to influence others to take appropriate action based on such information.
