Cascade currently has five locations throughout Lewis County.

Cascade is currently seeking a Therapist to join our Acute Psychiatric Services Team!

We provide intensive mental health and psychiatric services for adults 18 and older. Our 22-bed facility has 16 beds on our Evaluation and Treatment Unit, and 6 beds on our Crisis Stabilization unit.

$2500 sign-on bonus on first paycheck after completing orientation and onboarding trainings; should employment end prior to one year, bonus must be paid back at a pro-rated basis.

What You Need to be Eligible to Get the Job Done:

Master’s Degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences is required.

Must be acknowledged by the State of Washington as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) or be eligible to be per WAC 388-865-0238, RCW 71.05.020(30) and RCW 71.34.020(14).

Washington State Counselor Registration required.

Must be able to pass WA State Patrol and/or national background checks.

Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.

Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.

Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Must comply with agency policies and procedures.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Must be able to gain access to all types of buildings and residences regardless of the structures’ handicapped accessibility or lack thereof.

Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the personnel office.

Job Requirements:

What You’ll Do:

Completes Individual Service Planning (ISP) with client within one business day of client admission. Assessment of client by MHP within 24 hours of admission to facility is required by WAC 71.05.210.

Completes mental status exams and provides diagnosis entry as needed.

Provides at minimum one face to face contact with admitted clients per week. Provides more than one contact per week as clinically indicated.

Provides two therapeutic groups per week to unit clients.

Coordinates with other clinical or medical staff in regards to treatment and discharge planning for assigned clients.

Completes crisis plans with clients admitted to the facility on or before discharge.

Provides individual, family and group therapy as well as case management services as appropriate.

Coordinates treatment services with other relevant agencies and others involved in the client’s life, i.e. parents, foster parents, grandparents, guardian ad litem (all as appropriate).

Maintains records and reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Participates in supervision, consultation and training at the direction of the Acute Psychiatric Services Director.

Other services as directed by the Acute Psychiatric Services Program Director.

Provides reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Ensures that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.

Participates in other activities at the direction of the Acute Psychiatric Services Program Director.
