Transition from ICU Pulmonary care (ventilator management and weaning) Complex wound care Physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation Renal disease and dialysis Radiation therapy Infection prevention and IV antibiotic therapy Pain management Job Summary: Plan and implement care for patients in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures.

Provide nursing services to patients and families, in accordance with scope of practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Provides leadership to supervised personnel, which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.

Qualification and Requirements: Current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, or an associated compact state.

Current BLS: Red Cross or American Heart; ACLS/ALS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within 6 months of hire.

Experience: 1-2 years of hospital experience Asheville Specialty Hospital is a licensed long-term acute care hospital offering a unique treatment approach for complex medical conditions by designing an individualized treatment plan in cooperation with your medical provider.
