This 300-bed Medical Center in the Greater Seattle, Washington has been serving the area for over 50 years. The Staff Rehab RN will join a hospital recognized for outstanding patient care, and always scoring high on quality measures, this hospital has proven itself as a true partner to the community. Acting as one of the first lines of triage for the public is a Primary Stroke Center that sees over 400 patients per month, along with a full cadre of additional services including a pediatric emergency hub, neuro-psychological services, Women’s Services, and Oncology Services.

Reporting to the CRRN Nurse Manager of Acute Rehabilitation, the Staff Rehab Nurse will join an outstanding CARF Certified Unit and an excellent team of caregivers. This unit offers treatments and individual rehabilitation plans for a wide range of injuries including Neuro and Head Trauma, Post-Stroke Recovery, Orthopedic Fracture and Replacements, and many Progressive / Degenerative Neurological Disorders.

The RN Staff Rehabilitation Nurse will work closely with an excellent team of Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Physicians to develop and execute individualized rehabilitation programs for each patient. This person will participate in assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the success of these plans, and the Rehabilitation Nurse will play an important role in helping patients recover. The RN Rehab Nurse will also get to serve as an advocate for the patient and an educator for the family, sharing tips, suggestions, orders, and best practices, to ensure a speedy and proper recovery for each patient.
