Systems Engineer, Advanced Concepts – Advanced Development Programs

As part of a small and accomplished team, you will perform tasks through all stages of the “Systems Engineering V” for our next-generation of flight systems.

You’ll have high levels of responsibility in the areas of architecting, concept of operations planning, design, requirements generation, manufacturing and integration, verification, and more.

You should expect to own vehicle-level budgets (such as propellant and power) and help optimize their systems, functions, and interfaces by using metrics such as cost, schedule, and mass.

We are looking for a team player who is committed to building a long-term career as a system engineer in advanced concepts.An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position, but you should expect that your work will include development of in-space systems for commercial, civil, and national security applications.

in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related technical field* Experience with technical standards, principles, and techniques related to solving diverse aerospace problems* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment* Must be a U.S.

citizenDesired (but not required):* M.S.

in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, physics, systems or related technical discipline* Successful candidates typically have 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems* Experience in the design, integration, and test of in-space systems* Experience with spacecraft electric propulsion systems and integration* Experience with spacecraft flight software requirements and verification* Experience in system analysis and modeling* Experience creating and meeting program schedules and milestones* Proficiency in Cameo and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) standard methodologies#NASA #Artemis #HumanLandingSystem #LunarLander #ReturntotheMoon #FirstWoman #NextMan #GototheMoon #SpaceExplorationITAR RequirementsTo conform to U.S.
