Maple Lane has temporary Custodian opportunities for you to join an important team that upholds the high standards expected of a facility that provides evaluation and treatment for people with behavioral health conditions.

A successful applicant will effectively maintain a clean facility by performing a variety of custodial duties while demonstrating a positive, guest-friendly attitude.

This is a temporary job that is due to last 12 months.

 

Some of what you will do:
Clean various buildings, offices, rooms, and beds through the facilityDaily care of all restrooms and bathing facilities, disinfecting and sanitizing of all toilets,
urinals, sinks, tubs and showers
Perform occasional yard work, including shoveling snow as neededDaily care of floors to include; sweeping, wet/dry mopping, buffing, scrubbing, stripping,
sealing, waxing and disinfecting
Empty and clean wastebaskets including infectious waste containers, trash, and recycle containers, pick up Bio-hazard
 

What we are looking for:
Work effectively in a team environment and independentlyAbility to work around persons who have behavioral, emotional, psychiatric, social, medical, and/or correctional problems and who may exhibit inappropriate non-compliant and/or aggressive behavior. Attention to detail for cleanliness and safetyAbility to use hand and power tools to perform heavy manual cleaning tasksCustodial experience in a healthcare settingAbility to comprehend MSDS and chemical labels, and proper use of cleaning chemicalsLead worker experience
 

Who should apply?
Professionals with at least one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work
