Position Summary:
Sea Mar is opening a new clinic in Spanaway. Our Clinic is due to open January 2021. We are a mission-driven health and human services 501(c) non-profit organization serving Western Washington. We are in search of a full-time Phlebotomist.
The Phlebotomist will be providing patient care following completion of venipuncture. Responsible for performing phlebotomy, waived tests, Automated CBCs, EKG’s, Spirometry’s, to assist in the diagnostic and treatment of the patients. Keep and maintains lab, reports and logs, processes specimens for outside referrals, keeps adequate inventory of supplies. Performs all tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with Sea Mar Health and Safety and infection control program. Some clerical duties may be assigned within the laboratory. Must be prepared to assist the Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist when necessary.
