– in addition to a lucrative relocation Contact Michael Brophy, Senior Recruiter, for more information Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center’s Pediatric Unit (PEDS) serves patients from 1 day old to 16 years of age and treats basically any type of acute illness that can occur.

The Pediatric Unit functions as a hospital within a hospital and provides care for all services, in-patient and out-patient.

In Pediatrics, there are 14 regular beds and 3 critical care beds with an average daily census between 4-7.

Nurse to patient ratios on an average are 1:3 depending on acuity.

As an RN in the Pediatric Unit you will have the opportunity to:
· Be part of a caring team of nurses dedicated to caring for children and their families QUALIFICATIONS Education
· Associates Degree in Nursing required Experience 2-year acute care RN experience in a NICU, Maternal Child, Critical Care, Med-Onc, or ED unit, required Pediatric and charge experience, preferred License/Certification
· Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Will consider candidates with RN licensure from out of state – but Oregon license is required by start date
· Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
· Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
· Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) preferred
· Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON) preferred
· Critical Care Registered Nurse-Pediatric (CCRN-P) preferred
· Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Program (APHONN) preferred Compensation & Benefits
