VP of Sales North America


This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted February 22, 2021.

Company is seeking a talented and experienced VP of Sales – North America who will oversee and facilitate the Sales Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for building and coaching high performing sales teams to success.  You and your team will be responsible for achieving high, sustainable and consistent growth year over year.  You will manage and coach our North America Sales Team and serve as their primary advocate inside the organization, while also collaborating with other functional areas to drive continuous improvement. You will develop strategies for generating revenue to help achieve the company’s sales goals, analyze industry data to guide future growth, build a best-in-class B2B sales team and play a foundational role in Company’s rapid growth. What You’ll Do

  • • Lead the North America Sales Team of a quarterly-focused SaaS company through a period of successful and rapid ARR growth by combining strategic thinking with a ‘roll-up your sleeves’ mentality 
  • • Actively grow, hire, and continuously develop a diverse, talented and motivated sales team who succeed by becoming trusted industry experts to the customer
  • • Partner with our Global Head of Sales, ELT, and sales managers to establish KPIs and implement a team-wide performance management program that helps identify high and low performers, promotes and rewards excellence and drives continuous, transparent feedback across the team
  • • Set and achieve new business revenue targets aligned to company goals and own all sales pipeline and conversion metrics, quarterly and annual sales goals, and other revenue KPI’s
  • • Work directly with the Global Head of Sales, VP of Revenue Strategy, and CMO to collaborate on demand generation campaigns and strategies that result in rapid growth of qualified pipeline, new customer acquisition and net new bookings ARR
  • • Work with our Product and Services leadership to clearly articulate customer and market opportunities and needs that directly impact top-line outcomes
  • • Initiate, develop and maintain executive level relationships and drive sales activities with key customers; Participate in customer meetings as necessary to validate positioning, qualify opportunities and facilitate the closing process
  • • Conduct weekly sales meetings and quarterly business reviews to ensure effective selling and efficient engagement of aligned resources
  • • Maintain and improve a successful and positive work environment anchored in our guiding principles and DE&I

Your Background

  • • A senior ‘sales leader who has experience both building and executing a go-to-market model in a fast growing B2B SaaS technology company 
  • • 10+ years of total software sales experience, including at least 5+ years of sales leadership and including a VP-level role for at least 3 years
  • • History of leading teams to overachieve targets in a SaaS, market leading technology company; proven ability to apply best practices in pipeline management, forecasting and lead generation activities that translate into superior team and individual performance
  • • Demonstrated experience building a collaborative environment across go-to-market teams
  • • Ability to drive productivity and efficiency in a metric driven model. Well-versed in SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, velocity, conversion, lead/close, etc.)
  • • Proven understanding of effective SaaS sales strategy that reaches and influences executive-level buyers in mid-market and enterprise customer segments
  • • Strong command of Salesforce reporting, analytics and dashboards
