Delivery Driver (Non CDL)

Job SummaryDrives Company vehicles, mainly 24’ box truck, to deliver or pick up local merchandise.Essential FunctionsSchedules delivery appointments with customers as needed (24 hours in advance)Verifies contents of inventory loads against shipping papersLoads and unloads the truck manually or with forklift, as neededIssues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or deliveryListens to and resolves service complaintsConducts safety inspections and ensures the Company vehicles are maintained and in proper working conditionReports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles immediately to supervisorReports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to supervisor immediatelyFollows safety procedures for vehicle operationJob QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Experience: Some experience driving a box truck in SeattleValid state driver’s licenseClean driving recordMust be comfortable driving a box truck in downtown SeattlePosition Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.

Hours of work may vary but warehouse days/hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

– 4:00 p.m.
