Company Information: 1 Stone Solutions, LLC is a fast, growing Commercial Cleaning Services Company located in Houston, TX and is looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the greater Houston area.

Founded in 2015, 1 Stone Solutions, LLC has seen tremendous growth since its incorporation.

1 Stone Solutions, LLC offers an array of services that include Nightly Janitorial, Day Porters, Maintenance Porters, Pressure Washing, Window Cleaning, Carpet Extraction, and Hard Floor Care.

JobDescription: The Business Development Manager will be 100% focused on pipeline generating activities, lead development, and prospect development.

This person must understand our target client profile and follow our pursuit plan to understand who they are, where they are, and how we can get in the door to present our capabilities.

The focus will be on facilities 30,000 square feet in size to present the services offered by 1 Stone Solutions, LLC.

The Business Development Manager will then create and present a dynamic sales package for the facility.

The Business Development Manager will be highly personable and consider conversation with others to be their 1 skillset.

In addition, our Business Development Manager will use all of our available tools to engage the prospects (phone, email, letters, field sales partners, etc.).

This person will also work in tandem with the Field Operations Team members to relentlessly build, curate, and add leads and prospects to our active pipeline.

This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Job Responsibilities: Set 2-4 meetings with new prospects per week Participate in community and business activities that will contribute to the sales program such as BOMA, IFMA, and IREM.

Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans, maintain present sales, attract and connect with new prospects, create proposals, respond to RFPs, and facilitate and close new business.

Own the information base on prospective clients within the territory.

Research a customer’s existing facility solutions and programs and schedule a bid walk of the facility with the prospect.

Include operations teams in strategic & financial planning and execution.

Negotiate contracts, close the deal, and manage the transition to operations to ensure the proposal commitments are delivered.

Maintain database for the territory using CRM.

Effectively manage the assigned budget.

Support the company’s online and direct marketing campaigns.

Monitor bid schedules and understand the competition in the marketplace fully.

Assist in training in both formal and informal situations as needed.

Cultivate relationships with vendors in similar industries to encourage lead generation.

Assist the corporation with competitive intelligence.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Facility services, janitorial, commercial real estate, or other related field preferred.

Relevant and immediate sales contacts preferred.

Work well under pressure to meet established goals.

SalesForce or other CRM & Excel preferred.

Collaborate with operations, other departments, and teams.

Strength in writing and presenting compelling, detailed, sales proposals.

Well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously.
