Director of Enablement

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic enablement leader to drive all aspects of employee learning and development at Esper.

You’ll start by building our enablement program for our go-to-market teams and expand to designing a company-wide onboarding program.

You’ll lead the company’s global learning strategy.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our GTM teams are experts on the Esper platform and the value it delivers to customers.

This role operates at the intersection of marketing, sales, product, customer success, operations and reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of enablement professionals as they drive all aspects of learning and development at Esper.

What you’ll have ownership of

  • Planning, leading, and managing all GTM team enablement from learning design to delivery and measurement, working closely with GTM Leadership
  • Delivering high quality, sticky and impactful experiences that drive engagement and learning
  • Delivering stellar enablement programs and collaborating and assisting with team events such as Kickoff planning and execution
  • Creating session learning briefs, holding session dry runs and providing real-time feedback to verify each speaker’s aptitude for delivery
  • Continually improving each program by identifying areas of opportunity using an ongoing survey methodology and by providing continuous feedback and coaching to all session speakers
  • Creating, monitoring and reporting metrics on all programs to measure productivity and success
  • Creating lab/workshop-type interactive exercises to drive high level of interactivity
  • Develop relevant and engaging just-in-time and asynchronous learning content tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Building and leading a team of Enablement professionals and ensuring everyone is on the same page and moving in the right direction together

A Bit About You

  • 7+ years of enablement experience and specifically with revenue team enablement
  • Passion and understanding for learner centric adult learning
    – both delivered in an asynchronous (self study on an LMS) or in real life (in person or virtual) format
  • Track record of leading and coaching a highly effective team
  • Experience with SFDC, learning management systems, and other e-learning tools
  • Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion and multi-task, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to take ambiguous goals and turn them into execution plans and be able to herd distinct points of view to a common a goal
  • Works well under pressure, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that is constantly changing
  • Able to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency and prioritization
  • Track record of converting ideas to impact
  • Strong presentation skills & communication skills with a unique ability to create a strong narrative for delivery to Executives for buy-in and alignment
