General Manager – Camping Club

This is a Contract position in Tulalip, WA posted December 4, 2021.

Job Description Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Report to the Board of Directors • Be knowledgeable of the Club’s Corporate Charter, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Compromise and Settlement Agreement and TERO Agreement • Develop and recommend to the Board the Club’s Annual Budget and resources • Be responsible for hiring, supervising, evaluating, disciplining, award, promoting, and terminating all Club employees in accordance with the Club’s Employment Policies, Procedures and Resolutions • Act as the Club’s primary negotiator in the letting of all contracts for services and goods • Ensure the Club’s IT assets are adequate to meet the operational needs of the Club • Be the Club’s liaison in representing the Club’s interests to the Tulalip Tribes Board of Directors • Seek to resolve disputes between Members and the Club, and to bring to the Board’s attention disagreements that cannot be resolved on an administrative level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Washington State Driver’s License. • BA Degree Required • Minimum of 5 years of nonprofit experience with planning, budgeting and business/financial analysis skills. • Understanding of marketing strategies • Intermediate computer skills • Required to work some evenings/weekends for meetings • Strong people management, negotiation and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Able to organize and prepare presentations to large crowds • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Attention to detail and problem solving • Competent in conflict and crisis management
