Splunk is looking for a Sr Manager, Partner Program Incentives to own the creation, launch and management of program incentives that support indirect routes-to-market to deliver independent and incremental booking streams. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, creation and execution of Partner+ program incentives across all partner types. You will work cross-functionally to develop and implement the strategy, planning, and infrastructure that incentivizes our partners. You will closely work with key partners across the Splunk organization to plan and craft compelling incentives and ensure a successful platform is in place to support incentive calculations that drive our company goals and objectives.

Partner+ Program

  • Be an integral member of a small, focused and highly effective worldwide Partner Programs group that is responsible for the partner ecosystem, Program transformation, enablement, engagement, and growth.

Global Incentives

  • Build, launch and manage incentive models across the full lifecycle of the partner journey designed to increase partner success and align with the next generation of the Partner+ Program.
  • Help to craft and deliver a quick, easy and effective portal experience for partners to learn about and take advantage of incentives offered in the program.
  • Be a source of expertise on competitive Partner Program incentive offerings – help collect and disseminate competitive information and build on standard methodologies for Splunk specific success.
  • Own MDF and BDF incentive management including improvements and enablement of program both internally and with partners collaborating with Partner Operations and Partner Marketing.
  • Build and refine incentive initiatives to align with expected outcomes and strategic goals, working closely with channel partners, Partner Operations, Finance and Accounts Payable to develop models that identify the impact and ROI of incentives across all partner types.
  • Maintain and update internal and external incentive collateral as needed.

Partner and Team Success

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, education, marketing, operations, product management, support, business/corporate development and sales to drive a positive partner experience.
  • Own responsibility for execution and launch activities associated with program transformation related to incentives communication creation, PowerPoints, program guides, teamwork with Operations, Legal and other teams)
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to align with partner communications, the Splunk Partner Portal and other vehicles to educate and enable partners.
  • Advise and guide our Partner Business Operations team to report on specific partner metrics and KPI’s, provide partner dashboards/reports, and analyze the impact of partner incentive models. Adjust and adapt initiatives based on performance.
  • Manage work across a matrixed organization with internal and external partners to get feedback, agreement, and lead expectations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience managing incentive initiatives such as discounting, rebates, enablement, Marketing & Business Development Funds (MDF/ BDF), and groundbreaking partner incentives
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, high-pressure, high-visibility role
  • Outstanding analytical skills, technical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills to large groups of people and senior management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Global travel (when travel resumes) 
  • Location: Anywhere in the U.S. (near major airport preferred)
